Moment of “Triomphe” in Paris

When traveling, you will often get suggestions about what to do, where to go, what to eat, and so on. ¬†While we were in Paris, our tour guide told our group that we would get a great view of the city from the Eiffel Tower, so don’t pay to climb any monuments.

Being the rebels we are, Emily and I completely ignored that and climbed the Arc de Triomphe.

24 Hours in Paris (Part 2)

If you haven’t already read part one of my Parisian adventure, read it here.

Our very last stop of day one in Paris was Notre Dame, and no we didn’t see any hunchbacks there! We got there just in time to go inside. This was another free place! Something to keep in mind when inside Notre Dame, is that it is still a place of worship. Several people were shouting, and some were even running. I found it to be very disrespectful, especially to those who were praying. Use common sense and you’ll be fine. IMG_2005

24 Hours in Paris (Part 1)

Paris is a city I have dreamed about for as long as I could remember. It was always the number one place I wanted to see when I went to Europe. When I was in Germany visiting a friend, I told her that I was really hoping to be able to see the city. She kept telling me that it was too far away (over a 9 hour drive).
